IRA BRAMLETT

SIKESTON -- Ira Bramlett, 85, of Sikeston died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center. He was born April 11, 1911, in Hunt, Ark., son of Charles A. and Rena Hunt Bramlett. He and Norma Beatrice Bramlett were married Sept. 15, 1932, in Arkansas. She died Dec. 2, 1991...

SIKESTON -- Ira Bramlett, 85, of Sikeston died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 1996, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

He was born April 11, 1911, in Hunt, Ark., son of Charles A. and Rena Hunt Bramlett. He and Norma Beatrice Bramlett were married Sept. 15, 1932, in Arkansas. She died Dec. 2, 1991.

Bramlett was a self-employed farmer. He moved to Sikeston in 1943 from Arkansas.

Survivors include two sons, Charles Bramlett of Sikeston, Harold Bramlett of Vanduser; a daughter, Mary Todd of Vanduser; a brother, Charles Bramlett Jr. of Hollister, Calif.; two sisters, Faye Nease and Marie Morris of Hollister; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel at Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Jim Wiley officiating. Burial will be in Forest Hills Memorial Garden at Morley.
