EAST PRAIRIE -- Paul Sherman Williams, 56, of Corona, Calif., died Friday, April 28, 1995, at the Regional Medical Center in Corona.

He was born June 13, 1938, in East Prairie, son of Golf and Birtie Mae Zook Williams.

Williams was a retired self-employed painter. He had lived in Corona 35 years.

Survivors include his mother of Sikeston; three daughters, Donna Rupcich and Linda Roeder of Milwaukee, Wis., Martha Sercho of Mukwonago, Wis.; two sisters, Judy Garrett of Sikeston, Betty McGill of East Prairie; six brothers, Willie Williams of East Prairie, Johnny Williams of Riverside, Calif., James Williams of Hesston, Kan., Finley Williams of Sikeston, Lindy Williams of St. Louis, Alton Williams of Elk Creek, and eight grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father and a brother.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Shelby Funeral Chapel with Mike Johnson officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday from 11 a.m. to service time.
