CAIRO, Ill. -- Kenneth Wayne Thurman, 63, of Cairo, died Tuesday, May 2, 1995, at Marion VA Medical Center in Marion.

He was born Dec. 26, 1931, in Anniston, Mo., son of Pryor and Maude Cawthorne Thurman.

Thurman had lived in Cairo 15 years. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force.

Survivors include two brothers, Bob Thurman of Hemet, Calif., Roy Thurman of San Jacinto, Calif.; two sisters, Louise McIntyre and Hazel Bouler of Charleston.

He was preceded in death by a brother.

Friends may call at Shelby Funeral Home in Charleston after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Jim Barnhart officiating. Burial will be in Anniston Cemetery.
