MOREHOUSE -- Lena Lucille Cornell, 82, of Morehouse died Thursday, May 4, 1995, at her home. She was born at Trenton, Tenn., April 29, 1913, daughter of Luther and Neat Butler Black. She married James Cornell at Sikeston Aug. 3, 1930. He survives. Other survivors include a daughter, Betty Katherine Cornell Edrington of Memphis; a sister, Virginia Looney of Bakersfield, Calif.; and two grandchildren...

MOREHOUSE -- Lena Lucille Cornell, 82, of Morehouse died Thursday, May 4, 1995, at her home.

She was born at Trenton, Tenn., April 29, 1913, daughter of Luther and Neat Butler Black.

She married James Cornell at Sikeston Aug. 3, 1930. He survives.

Other survivors include a daughter, Betty Katherine Cornell Edrington of Memphis; a sister, Virginia Looney of Bakersfield, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

Service will be held Sunday at 2 p.m. in the Watkins & Sons Chapel in Morehouse, with the Rev. George Hill of Essex officiating.

Friends may call at the funeral home today after 6 p.m. An Eastern Star service will be held at the funeral home today at 7 p.m.
