RUSSELL W. BAUER

JONESBORO, Ill. -- Russell W. Bauer, 19, of Jonesboro, died Monday, June 5, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, from injuries received in an automobile accident last week on Lick Creek Road near Anna.

He was born Nov. 14, 1975, in Mattoon, son of Louis and Carole Russell Bauer.

Bauer was a department manager at Food World in Jonesboro. He attended a Baptist church.

He was a 1994 graduate of Anna-Jonesboro High School, served on the Student Council and played football three years.

Survivors include his parents; two sisters, Neely Bauer of Murray, Ky., Jamie Bauer of Jonesboro, and paternal grandparents, Fred and Louise Bauer of Jonesboro.

He was preceded in death by maternal grandparents.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Anna Heights Baptist Church, with the Rev. John Kern officiating. Burial will be in Jonesboro Cemetery.

Friends may call at Hileman and Parr Funeral Home after 4 p.m. today, and on Thursday at the church from 9 a.m. to service time.
