Coena Clara Engler, 85, of Cape Girardeau, died Friday, June 9, 1995, at Chateau Girardeau.

She was born March 7, 1910, at Fornfelt, daughter of Faidolin M. and Clara Amelia Enderle.

She married Oliver G. Engler Sept. 5, 1950. He preceded her in death in September 1979.

She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church in Cape Girardeau.

She is survived by two brothers, Robert Scherer of Cheyenne, Wyo., and F. M. Scherer of Scott City; two sisters, Loretta Vaughn of Midwest City, Okla., and Velma Statler of Carson City, Nev.

She was preceded in death by a brother and three sisters.

Service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Scott City, with the Rev. Pat Wissman officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery at Scott City.

Friends may call at Amick-Burnett Funeral Home in Scott City Monday from 9 to 10:45 a.m.
