DEXTER -- Eva Culbertson, 87, of Dexter, died Sunday, June 11, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau. She was born Aug. 25, 1907, in Downey, Calif., daughter of Ben Everett and Mattie Ralph Hart. She and Frank Culbertson were married Aug. 7, 1925, in Oroville, Calif. He died Aug. 2, 1961...

DEXTER -- Eva Culbertson, 87, of Dexter, died Sunday, June 11, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Aug. 25, 1907, in Downey, Calif., daughter of Ben Everett and Mattie Ralph Hart. She and Frank Culbertson were married Aug. 7, 1925, in Oroville, Calif. He died Aug. 2, 1961.

Culbertson and her husband built and then owned and operated Cub's Cafe and Motel here several years. She was a member of First Baptist Church and its Joy Club, and Dexter Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

Survivors include a sister, Bell Drobaz of Dexter.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter after 5 p.m. Wednesday.

Private graveside service will be held Thursday at Dexter Cemetery, with the Rev. Wayne Dismuke officiating.
