RUTH HANNER

ADVANCE -- Ruth Hanner, 62, of Advance, died Wednesday, Feb. 1, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born Dec. 18, 1933, in Arcadia, Fla., daughter of Lawrence Preston and Naomi Bryant Johnson. She and Oren Paul Hanner were married July 28, 1968, in Arcadia. He died Dec. 17, 1986.

Hanner was a technician at Advance Nursing and Residential Care Center 12 years.

Survivors include three sons, David Carter and Paul Hanner Jr. of Advance, Clayton Mann of Barksdale, La.; four daughters, Janet Leyrer of Daleville, Ala., Doris Garrant of Flint, Mich., Bobbi Langston of Salt Lake City, Utah, Tammy Hanner of Advance; four brothers, Everette, Kenneth and Louie Johnson of Arcadia, Paul Johnson of Florida; three sisters, Bertha Wright and Elouise Veil of Tampa, Fla., Sandra Allbritton of Florida; 11 grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a brother, sister, daughter and great-grandchild.

Friends may call at Morgan Funeral Home from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Scott Payne officiating. Burial will be in Morgan Memorial Park.
