ALJNORY SMITH

SIKESTON -- Aljnory Smith, 59, of Charleston died Feb. 3, 1995, in the emergency room of the Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

He was born Dec. 11, 1935, in Hillhouse, Miss., the son of George Smith and Mary Smith Oliver of Charleston.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife, Artina Smith of St. Louis; three sons, Bobby Smith, Aljnory Smith Jr. and Darrell Smith, all of St. Louis; two daughters, Florence Smith of Atlanta and Nicole Bostic of Charleston; five brothers, George McCray of St. Louis, Christopher and Billy Oliver, both of Charleston, Wayne Oliver of Chicago and Harold Oliver, whose address is unknown; four sisters, Dorothy Allen of South Village, Ill., Edna Ward of Richland Park, Ill., and Irness Pratt and Bobbie Dunigan, both of Charleston; and several grandchildren.

Friends may call from 11 a.m. until 2 p.m. Wednesday at Sparks Funeral Home in Charleston, where funeral service is 2 p.m. Wedensday. The Rev. Wiley Reed will officiate, and burial will be in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Charleston.
