GRAND CHAIN, Ill. -- Irene Reichart, 80, of Grand Chain, died Sunday, Feb. 5, 1995, at Marion Memorial Hospital.

She was born Aug. 20, 1914, in Olive Branch. She married Hiram Reichart, who preceded her in death.

Reichart was a member of the Congregational Church, Grand Chain Order of Eastern Star 710, and Homemakers Extension Club. She served on the board of Tip of Illinois Health Services, and was a past worthy matron of Eastern Star.

Survivors include a daughter, Judy Gotway of Marion; two sons, Larry "Skip" Reichart of Grand Chain, Edward Reichart of Carterville; two sisters, Mildred Campbell of Peoria, Geraldine Clark of Grand Chain, and seven grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, brother and two sisters.

Friends may call at Wilson Funeral Home in Karnak from 5:30-9 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Revs. G.E. Coultas and Gary McClellan officiating. Burial will be in Masonic Cemetery at Grand Chain.
