MOREHOUSE -- Thelma May Manning, 73, of Morehouse, died Monday, Feb. 6, 1995, at Sells Nursing Home.

She was born April 21, 1921, in Gray Ridge, daughter of Ben J. and Blanch Stansberry Stroud. She and Albert Manning were married Jan. 3, 1943. He died Feb. 25, 1985.

Manning lived in Detroit, Mich., many years. She moved to Morehouse in 1963.

Survivors include a son, Albert Manning of Farmington; two sisters, Maxine Harper of Morehouse, Betty Patterson of Laguna Niguel, Calif., and a grandchild.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and three sisters.

Friends may call at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Morehouse after 6 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Rick Krietemeyer officiating. Burial will be in Triplett Cemetery near Essex.
