JACKSON -- Erma Matilda Richter, 73, of Jackson, died Friday, Feb. 10, 1995, at Deal Nursing Home. She was born Sept. 1, 1921, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Edward and Emma Kohlfeld Lohmann. She and Marvin H. Richter were married June 10, 1961, at New Wells. He died Sept. 2, 1990...

JACKSON -- Erma Matilda Richter, 73, of Jackson, died Friday, Feb. 10, 1995, at Deal Nursing Home.

She was born Sept. 1, 1921, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Edward and Emma Kohlfeld Lohmann. She and Marvin H. Richter were married June 10, 1961, at New Wells. He died Sept. 2, 1990.

Richter was a member of Jackson Church of Christ, American Legion Auxiliary in Jackson, and VFW Auxiliary in Cape Girardeau.

Survivors include a son, Francis E. Monroe of Jackson; a daughter, Marlene A. Monroe of Salinas, Calif.; three brothers, Richard Lohmann of St. Louis, Clarence Lohmann of Cape Girardeau, Elmer Lohmann of Scott City; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.

Friends may call at McCombs Funeral Chapel from 4-8 p.m. Sunday.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at the chapel, with Pastor Jerry Culbertson officiating. Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
