SIKESTON -- John Paul Cook, 46, of Sikeston, died Wednesday, Feb. 15, 1995, at his home.
He was born Dec. 21, 1948, in Sikeston, son of Earl Ray and Delores Phillips Cook.
Cook was a forklift operator at Fleming Co., and formerly worked at Malone and Hyde.
He received bachelor of arts and science degrees from Southeast Missouri State University in 1971, and a master's degree in geography from Indiana State at Terre Haute in 1973. He was a member of Sikeston First United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his parents; a brother, Ron Cook, and a sister, Sue Brewer, all of Sikeston.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Shirley Cook and Carmen Thompson.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at First United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Charles Buck officiating.
Friends may call at the church from 10-11 a.m. Saturday.
