SUSIE GOINES PFAFF

Villa Ridge, Ill., -- Susie Goines Pfaff, 88, of Villa Ridge died Feb. 18, 1995, at the Cape Girardeau Nursing Center.

She was born July 20, 1906, in Grand Chain, the daughter of Albert Goines and Susie Thrasher.

She married Fredrick Carl Pfaff on Feb. 24, 1930, at Jonesboro. He preceded her in death on Sept. 20, 1994.

She was a retired dietitian at the Illinois State Hospital in Manteno.

Survivors include four sons, Carl L. Pfaff of Olmsted, Cecil E. Pfaff of Villa Ridge, Wendell L. Pfaff of Ringgold, Ga., and James Bennett of San Diego, Calif.; two daughters Nellie Ferguson of Kankakee, and Margaret Haffley of Springfield; 17 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 6-9 p.m. today at the Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge, where funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Monday. The Rev. John Kern will officiate, and burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery in Pulaski.
