EAST PRAIRIE -- Joshua Stephen Groves, 20, of East Prairie, died Sunday, Feb. 19, 1995, in an automobile accident in Sikeston.

He was born Feb. 13, 1975, at Sikeston, son of Marshall Dwain and Jane Ellen Williams Groves.

Groves moved to East Prairie about a month ago from Jonesboro, Ark. He attended Shady Acres Church of Christ in Sikeston and First General Baptist Church in East Prairie.

Survivors include his father and stepmother, Marshall and Medrith Groves of Jonesboro; his mother and stepfather, Jane and Denny Eppestine of Sikeston; two half sisters, Misti Davis and Casey Eppestine of Sikeston; paternal grandparents, Marshall and Adele Groves of East Prairie, and maternal grandmother, Leveda Williams of Sikeston.

He was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bob Williams officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.
