WITTENBERG -- Funeral service for Della Clara F. Wichern of Wittenberg will be held at 2 p.m. today at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Altenburg. The Rev. Charles Weber will officiate, with burial in the church cemetery.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville from 6:30-11:15 a.m. today.

Wichern, 84, died Friday, Feb. 24, 1995, at Perry County Nursing Home.

She was born Dec. 19, 1910, at Friedland, daughter of John and Clara Thurm Holschen. She and Otto Conrad Wichern were married April 22, 1946. He died March 20, 1990.

Wichern was a member of Immanuel Church.

Survivors include three sisters-in-law, Hulda Wichern of Altenburg, Mildred Kranawetter of Jacob, Ill., and Agnes Sims of Crestwood.

She was preceded in death by two sisters, Hattie Edwards and Ester Holschen, a half brother, Adolph Holschen, and a half sister, Emma Pingston.
