PERRYVILLE -- Mary Amelia LaRose, 93, of Perryville, died Sunday, Feb. 26, 1995, at Perry Oaks Nursing Center.

She was born April 17, 1901, in Perry County, daughter of August and Emma Herron Buff. She and Lawrence J. LaRose were married Aug. 5, 1919, at Silver Lake. He died Jan. 4, 1982.

LaRose was a member of Daughters of Isabella and American Legion Auxiliary.

Survivors include a daughter, Evelyn Ellis of Perryville; three sisters, Cecilia Robinson, Ella Shrum and Lorraine Goodwin of Perryville; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 3-9 p.m. today, and 6:30 a.m.-1:20 p.m. Wednesday. A wake will be held at 7 tonight, followed by Daughters of Isabella and American Legion Auxiliary services. The rosary will be at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Funeral mass will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
