Lettie M. Joiner, 86, 1105 Linden, died Thursday, March 9, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital. She was born July 11, 1908, at Tyler, daughter of Frank and Lillie Wilson Strong. Lettie M. Joiner, 86, 1105 Linden, died Thursday, March 9, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born July 11, 1908, at Tyler, daughter of Frank and Lillie Wilson Strong. She married Jay Joiner, who preceded her in death.

Joiner had owned a restaurant. She was a member of Southside Baptist Church and VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include four nephews, Harold Dunn of St. Charles, Paul Strong of Barnhart, Billie Stowe of Tupelo, Miss., Jackie Stowe of Hayti, and a niece, Mary Barger of Cooter.

She was preceded in death by a son, four brothers and two sisters.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from 4-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. William Marshall officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Cemetery at Cooter.
