THEBES, Ill. -- Graveside service for Marcella Caldwell of Thebes will be held at 2:30 p.m. today at Rose Hill Cemetery, with the Rev. Billy Don Heady officiating.

Crain Funeral Home at Tamms is in charge of arrangements.

Caldwell, 73, died Wednesday, March 22, 1995, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Mo.

She was born Sept. 30, 1921, in Thebes, daughter of James C. and Marie Jordan Davis.

Caldwell was a member of Beech Grove Baptist Church and its Cheerful Workers.

Survivors include her husband, Sherman; two daughters, Nigel Collins and Twyla Wareing of Thebes; a sister, Thaleta Caldwell of Lebanon, Mo., and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, grandson, adopted son, brother and sister.
