CHARLESTON -- Spencer Coleman, 24, of Charleston, died Tuesday, March 21, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston, from a gunshot wound.

He was born July 30, 1970, in Charleston, son of Ruth Ann Coleman and James Branigan. He attended Charleston High School, and Opportunity Church of God In Christ.

Survivors include his father of Fort Wayne, Ind.; a son, Kyree Thomas of Charleston; two daughters, LaQuanda and Shaniqua Coleman of Charleston, and a sister, Penny Coleman of Chicago.

He was preceded in death by his mother.

Friends may call at Sparks Funeral Home from 7-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at noon Saturday at Opportunity Church, with Pastor Steve Betts officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
