MARBLE HILL -- Elza Elmer Cook, 91, of Marble Hill died Saturday, March 25, 1995, at the Bond Nursing Care Center in Marble Hill. He was born Dec. 5, 1903, at Mayfield, son of Hunter Elmer and Barbara James Cook. He and Maude Ellen Fulbright were married July 10, 1926. She died Sept. 13, 1969...

MARBLE HILL -- Elza Elmer Cook, 91, of Marble Hill died Saturday, March 25, 1995, at the Bond Nursing Care Center in Marble Hill.

He was born Dec. 5, 1903, at Mayfield, son of Hunter Elmer and Barbara James Cook. He and Maude Ellen Fulbright were married July 10, 1926. She died Sept. 13, 1969.

He served 16 years as Bollinger County district road judge.

Survivors include two sons, Perry Cook of Cape Girardeau and Paul Cook of Burfordville; two brothers, Delzie Cook of Marble Hill and the Rev. Odell Cook of Jackson; a sister, Elsie Fulbright of Marble Hill; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by two infant brothers, a sister and a grandson.

Friends may call today after 4 p.m. at Liley Funeral Home in Marble Hill.

Funeral service will be Mondayt at 11 a.m. at the funeral chapel. The Rev. Loyd Ray Green will officiate, with burial in Hurricane Fork Cemetery near Marble Hill.
