McGEE -- Funeral service for Gary R. Carver will be held at 10 a.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Chapel in Puxico. The Rev. LeRoy Hefner will officiate, with burial in New Hope Cemetery at McGee.

Carver, 38, died Tuesday, July 4, 1995, at Doctors' Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.

He was born Oct. 9, 1956, at McGee, son of Eugene and Nadine Hefner Carver.

Carver had lived in the McGee and Puxico areas all his life. He was employed in the manufacture of log homes.

Survivors include a son, William Carver of McGee; a daughter, Denise Carver of Bloomfield; his parents of McGee; two sisters, Patsy Smith of McGee and Barbara Grasham of St. Louis.
