ANNA, Ill. -- Roy R. Tripp, 65, of South Fulton, Tenn., formerly of Jonesboro, Ill., died Friday, July 7, 1995, at the Veterans Administration Medical Center in Marion, Ill.
He was born March 2, 1930, at Jonesboro, son of Russell and Ethel Frick Tripp.
Tripp was retired from the Army, with 22 years of service. He was a member of the Carroll P. Fosters VFW Post 3455 at Anna.
Survivors include twin sons, Louis W. Tripp and Russell L. Tripp, both of Cobden, Ill.; a daughter, Patricia Ann Kay Tripp of Akron, Ohio; brothers, Sidney Tripp of South Fulton and Chester D. Tripp of Montrose, Colo.; sisters, Maude Rendleman of Glendale, Wis., and Jane Peterson of Minneapolis.
Friends may call after 6 p.m. today at the Lutz & Rendleman Funeral Home of Anna.
Service will be at 1:30 p.m. Monday at the funeral home in Anna, with the Rev. Dewayne Taylor officiating. Interment will be in the Jonesboro Cemetery. Graveside military honors will be presented by the Carroll P. Foster VFW Post.
