ANNA, Ill. -- Charles Rosson, 87, of Anna, died Wednesday, July 12, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Jan. 27, 1908, in Union County, son of Arlie and Media Ann Wall Rosson. He and Erie McCommons were married Aug. 6, 1931, in Jonesboro.

Rosson retired from food service at the former Anna State Hospital. He was a member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Bob Rosson of Elgin; two daughters, Charlene Hileman of Jonesboro, Virginia Gould of Elgin; a brother, Glenn Rosson of Anna; three sisters, Pearl Linton of Anna, Blanche Poole of Xenia, Helen Winn of Florissant, Mo.; six grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna from 6-9 p.m. Friday.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with Steve Shepherd of-ficiating. Burial will be in McGinnis Cemetery near Anna.
