A memorial service for Betty M. von Lehsten of Cape Girardeau will be held at 2 p.m. today at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel.

Burial will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Louis County.

Von Lehsten, 88, died Wednesday, July 12, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center.

She was born April 8, 1907, at Doniphan, daughter of William W. and Leila Johnston Martin. She married A.R. von Lehsten, who preceded her in death.

Von Lehsten was a retired teacher. She was a member of Third Baptist Church and University Club in St. Louis, and the Junior League. She moved to Cape Girardeau in 1989 from St. Louis.

She is survived by a cousin, Joe Carter of Cape Girardeau.

She was preceded in death by two brothers.
