BELL CITY -- Lacleda "Sis" Northern, 55, Bell City Route 1, died Thursday, July 13, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born July 18, 1939, in Tanner, daughter of Lester and Mary Magdeline Davis Cooper. She and Clyde W. Northern were married Sept. 5, 1958, at Miner.

Northern attended Vanduser Baptist Church, and was a member of Morley VFW Auxiliary.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Clyde "Randy" Northern II of Oran; three daughters, Teresa Lockart of Sikeston, Mary and Sarah Northern of the home; a brother, Larry Cooper of Sikeston; two half brothers, Roy Alberson of Vanduser and Sam Alberson of Bell City.

She was preceded in death by a brother and sister.

Friends may call at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston from 5-8 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the chapel, with the Rev. Marvin Graham officiating, assisted by Lloyd Boley. Burial will be in New Morley Cemetery.
