PERRYVILLE -- Clyde F. Zoellner, 78, of Perryville, died Thursday, July 13, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Aug. 14, 1916, in Perry County, son of Frank H. and Anna Theresa Baudendistel Zoellner. He and Vivian Prost were married April 20, 1941.

Zoellner was retired from the U.S. Postal Service. He was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church, Holy Name Society, and Knights of Columbus 3rd and 4th Degree.

Zoellner was a past grand knight, navigator of 4th Degree, secretary of KC Council 1263, past state secretary of Knights of Columbus, National Rural Carriers Association, Perryville Country Club, past president of Junior Chamber of Commerce, former board member of Perry County School District 32, and a former neighborhood commissioner of Shawnee District of Boy Scouts of America.

Survivors include his wife; three sons, Frank Zoellner of Rolla, the Rev. Michael Zoellner of Atchison, Kan., Richard Zoellner of Perryville; two sisters, Iola Steinbecker and Dorothy Coen of Perryville, and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, sister and four brothers.

A memorial mass will be held later.
