CAIRO, Ill. -- Alexander L. Duke Jr., 75, of Cairo, died Friday, July 21, 1995, in Cairo. He was born Oct. 27, 1919, in Hopkinsville, Ky., son of Alexander and Nellie Grace Duke. Duke was a retired maintenance worker. Survivors include two daughters, Angela Duke of Cairo, Barbara Daniels of Alvin, Texas; a son, Stacy Duke of Cairo, and six grandchildren...

CAIRO, Ill. -- Alexander L. Duke Jr., 75, of Cairo, died Friday, July 21, 1995, in Cairo.

He was born Oct. 27, 1919, in Hopkinsville, Ky., son of Alexander and Nellie Grace Duke.

Duke was a retired maintenance worker.

Survivors include two daughters, Angela Duke of Cairo, Barbara Daniels of Alvin, Texas; a son, Stacy Duke of Cairo, and six grandchildren.

Friends may call at Barkett Funeral Home in Cairo from 9-10 a.m. Wednesday.

Funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Robert Burchyett officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge.
