DOGWOOD -- Mary R. Dyer, 77, of Dogwood, died Sunday, July 23, 1995, at Miner Nursing Center.

She was born April 15, 1918, in Charleston, daughter of Francis Marion and Louise Quarles Stotts. She and David Harold Dyer were married Jan. 26, 1942. He ied in 1985.

Dyer was a retired teacher. She was a member of First Christian Church in Matthews, Order of Eastern Star in Sikeston, and PEO Sisterhood.

Survivors include three daughters, Carolyn Lynn of Erwin, N.C., Mary Dyer of East Prairie, Frances Doane of McLouth, Kan.; four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Ponder Funeral Home in Sikeston after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Mike Heinrichs officiating. Burial will be in Dogwood Cemetery.
