JERRY L. HELDERMAN

JACKSON -- Jerry Lee Helderman, 65, of Jackson, died Wednesday, July 26, 1995, at Jefferson Memorial Hospital in Crystal City.

He was born May 10, 1930, in Cape Girardeau, son of Earl and Corrine Childs Helderman. He and Patricia Phelan were married June 20, 1953, in Jackson.

Helderman had been a firefighter with St. Louis Fire Department at Engine House 29. He was a member of St. Louis Association of Retired Professional Firefighters and St. Louis Firefighters Union. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.

Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Jerie Rhode of St. Louis, Janis Crites of Jackson; his mother of Jackson, and three grandchildren.

There is no visitation.

Service will be private.

Cracraft-Miller Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
