PERRYVILLE -- Wallace J. "Jamie" Brewer, 24, of McHenry County, Ill., formerly of Perryville, died Friday, July 28, 1995, in McHenry County due to a boating accident.

He was born July 27, 1971, in Perryville, the son of Gary Brewer of Perryville and Helen Weinkein Naeger of Anchorage, Alaska.

Brewer was a landscaper and member of the Polar Bear Swimming Club.

Other survivors include his stepmother, Helen Schilling Brewer of Perryville; his maternal grandmother, Virginia Weinkein of Perryville; his maternal stepgrandmother, Viola Schilling of Perryville; four brothers, Gary Jr., Donald, Michael and Jay Brewer of Perryville; and a sister, Dana McCoy of Perryville.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 6:30 to 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Young & Sons Chapel in Perryville. A parish wake will be conducted at the funeral chapel at 7 p.m Tuesday.

The funeral mass will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Christ the Savior Catholic Church in Brewer, with the Rev. Kevin Fausz officiating. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
