CHARLESTON -- Guy Eula Johnson, 64, of Charleston, died Sunday, July 30, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.
She was born Feb. 24, 1931, in Hickman, Ky., daughter of Edgar and Annie Dupree Davis. She and Ernest Johnson were married in 1949.
Johnson was a member of Perry Chapel AME Church, where she served as a trustee, on the Mission Board, and as chairman of the Pastor's Aid Committee.
Survivors include five sons, Orlanda, Karl, Jimmy and Reginald Johnson of Flint, Mich., Ronnie Johnson of Charleston; three daughters, Orzalia and Alberteen Johnson and Remonia Bankhead of Flint; a brother, Edgar Davis Jr. of Fort Wayne, Ind.; two sisters, Mary Reed of Fresno, Calif., Helen Hammon of Flagstaff, Ariz.; 27 grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Perry Chapel Church, with the Rev. Debbie Thornton officiating. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery.
Friends may call at the church after 10:30 a.m. Saturday.
