Pearl Stout Strack, 80, of Brentwood, Tenn., formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Monday, Aug. 7, 1995, at Lake Shore Meadows Nursing Home in Nashville, Tenn. She was born Sept. 8, 1914, in Allenville, daughter of Charles and Etta Thompson Harmon. She first married Weldon Stout on Oct. 20, 1937, in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death on May 11, 1965...

Pearl Stout Strack, 80, of Brentwood, Tenn., formerly of Cape Girardeau, died Monday, Aug. 7, 1995, at Lake Shore Meadows Nursing Home in Nashville, Tenn.

She was born Sept. 8, 1914, in Allenville, daughter of Charles and Etta Thompson Harmon.

She first married Weldon Stout on Oct. 20, 1937, in Cape Girardeau. He preceded her in death on May 11, 1965.

She married Daniel Strack on Sept. 7, 1967. He died Nov. 10, 1993.

She is survived by two daughters, Deanna Zadick of Brentwood, and Marguerite Whitwright of Melbourne, Fla.; three sisters, Agnes Linderer of Spring, Texas, Hazel Hargraves of Cape Girardeau, and Maxine Dubs of O'Fallon, Ill.; seven grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

Three brothers and a sister preceded her in death.

She grew up in Cape Girardeau, graduating in 1933 from Central High School.

She worked for Rings Tot Teen and then for 10 years at Rust and Martin.

She left Cape Girardeau in 1967 to move to Park Forest, Ill., and returned here in 1985. In 1991 she moved to Brentwood.

She was a former member of the First Baptist Church of Cape Girardeau. She was a member of Brentwood United Methodist Church in Brentwood.

Friends may call today from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Ford and Sons Mount Auburn funeral home.

Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Ford and Sons Mount Auburn Chapel, with the Rev. Neil Stein officiating.

Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery.
