PARMA -- Funeral service for Glenda L. Davis of Parma will be held at 11 a.m. today at Liley Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. The Rev. Johnny Lemmons will officiate, with burial in Bollinger County Memorial Park Cemetery near Marble Hill.
Davis, 68, died Monday, Aug. 7, 1995, at Doctors Regional Medical Center in Poplar Bluff.
She was born Feb. 26, 1927, at Imboden, Ark., daughter of Floyd Edward and Dola Brown Dailey. She and Curtis Davis were married Sept. 1, 1946.
Davis was a hairdresser and owned a shop in Parma for many years. She was a member of Parma First Baptist Church.
Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Donna Knight of Memphis, Tenn., Judy Lechner of St. Louis; her mother of Poplar Bluff; four brothers, Billye Dailey of Poplar Bluff, Eugene Dailey of Glen Allen, Laverne Dailey of Marble Hill, Floyd Dailey of Wood River, Ill.; four sisters, Martha Sherrill of Eufaula, Ala., Betty Clonninger of Alton, Ill., Carolyn Barlow of Cape Girardeau, Beatrice Brown of St. Charles; four grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.
