ANNA, Ill. -- Funeral service for Bryon Lynn Hoffman II of Anna will be held at 1 p.m. today at Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Anna. Steve Shepherd will officiate, with burial in Jonesboro Cemetery.

Hoffman, 23, died Sunday, Aug. 6, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, of injuries received while working on a car that fell on top of him.

He was born April 4, 1972, in Fairfield, Calif., son of Marlyn and Joanne B. Hersom Hoffman. He married Linda Marie Buckingham Jan. 17, 1995, in Dongola.

Hoffman was a member of First Christian Church.

Survivors include his wife; his mother, Joanne Cook of Anna; two stepchildren, Jodi and Patty Smith of Cobden; three brothers, Bryon Hoffman Sr. of Anna, Steven and Loran Hoffman of Dongola; three sisters, Sharol Hutchison of Jonesboro, Eileen Cruse of Anna and Jeanette Bracken of Dongola.
