PERRYVILLE -- Howard Francis Weinkein, 86, of Perryville, died Monday, Aug. 7, 1995, at Perry County Nursing Home.

He was born June 10, 1909, in Perry County, son of Felix A. and Rosa Miget Weinkein. He and Mary C. Benlien were married June 15, 1930.

Weinkein was a retired farmer and carpenter.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Gilbert Weinkein of Judsonia, Ark., Donald Weinkein of Perryville; three daughters, Rose Lappe of Garden City, Delores Pingel and Wilma Kiefer of Perryville; two brothers, Lester and Herbert Weinkein of Perryville; a sister, Gladys Fairchild of St. Louis; 12 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers, a sister and a grandchild.

Friends may call at Miller Family Funeral Home from 4-9 p.m. Thursday. The rosary will be at 7.

Funeral mass will be at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Philip Floersh officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery at Highland.
