NEW MADRID -- Funeral service for Frances Evelyn Parrish of New Madrid will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Richards Funeral Home. Burial will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

Parrish, 80, died Wednesday, Aug. 9, 1995, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

She was born Dec. 12, 1914, in Clarkton, daughter of Louis Richard and Ara Mae Dexter Thompson. She and Woodrow Parrish were married May 20, 1939, in New Madrid.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter, Kathleen Ward of Cape Girardeau; a sister, Louella Viler of Chaffee; six grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, four brothers and three sisters.
