BALTIMORE -- Raymond H. Popp, 55, formerly of Jackson, died Monday, Aug. 15, 1995, in Baltimore.

He was born Sept. 27, 1939, to Raymond W. and Lela Kranawetter Popp in Cape Girardeau.

Popp graduated from Jackson High School in 1957 and the former Rolla School of Mines in 1963.

He worked locally with Southard TV Repair while attending high school.

For the past 32 years, Popp was employed with the Westinghouse Corp., most recently as senior engineer.

Popp received numerous certificates of recognition for work that led to patents for the company.

He also was a former member of the Electrical Engineers Society of America and Toastmasters.

Survivors include his parents; a sister, Rebecca Montgomery of Chesterfield and two nieces.

Friends may call McCombs Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday.

Funeral service will be at the funeral home at 11 a.m. Friday, with the Rev. David Johnson officiating.

Burial will be in Russell Heights Cemetery.
