ROBERT L. SHARP

VILLA RIDGE, Ill. -- Robert Lewis Sharp, 50, of Joppa, died Wednesday, Aug. 16, 1995, at Massac Memorial Hospital in Metropolis.

He was born Feb. 28, 1945, in Illinois, son of Albert and Mary Lance Sharp.

Sharp was a timber cutter with Westvaco Paper Co. in Wickliffe, Ky.

Survivors include his wife, Judy; four sons, Robert Sharp of Cypress, Steven Sharp of Harris, Ark., Bobby Sharp of Joppa, Michael Sharp of Kansas City; a daughter, Vicki Sharp of Mattoon; two sisters, Audrey Burton of Pontiac, Ellen Klinzmann of Haxtun, Colo; nine brothers, William Sharp of Pulaski, Raymond, James and Larry Sharp of Olmsted, Phillip, Gary and Roger Sharp of Joppa, Charles Sharp of Perks, Ronnie Sharp of Villa Ridge; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Friends may call at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge from 4-7 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Barry Dummitt officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens.
