WAPPAPELLO -- Ervin Adams, 77, of Wappapello died Friday, Aug. 18, 1995, at his home. He was born Nov. 23, 1917, at Hartman, Ark., son of Jim Sam and Sara Henshew Adams. He and Emma Lancaster were married July 5, 1941, at Benton. Adams was employed by the U.S. government as a heating and air-conditioning maintenance worker. WAPPAPELLO -- Ervin Adams, 77, of Wappapello died Friday, Aug. 18, 1995, at his home.

He was born Nov. 23, 1917, at Hartman, Ark., son of Jim Sam and Sara Henshew Adams. He and Emma Lancaster were married July 5, 1941, at Benton.

Adams was employed by the U.S. government as a heating and air-conditioning maintenance worker. He also served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Wappapello VFW Post 3416.

Survivors include his wife; two sons, Joseph Neil Adams of Freeman and Timothy L. Adams of Desoto; a daughter, Janet M. Trumbo of Cedar Hill; a brother, Daniel M. Adams of Water Valley, Miss.; three sisters, Artie Hyatt of Porterville, Calif., and Juanita Verble and Wilma R. Ames, both of Sikeston; and three grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

Funeral will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Marvin Graham officiating. Burial will be at the New Morley Cemetery in Morley.
