Alecia Ann (Totton) Mryyan, 35, of Cape Girardeau died Friday, Aug. 18, 1995 at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau after an extended illness.
She was born July 27, 1960, at Parma, the daughter of Ollie Totton and Gladys Robinson. She attended elementary school in Sikeston and graduated from Cape Girardeau Central High School in 1979. She also attended Southeast Missouri State University.
For the past three years she was a nurses' assistant at St. Francis Medical Center.
She married Mohammed Mryyan in 1984, and was a member of the House of Prayer in Cape Girardeau.
Survivors include her mother and husband; a daughter, Yalaka Totton; a son, Demetrius Totton; her stepfather, Terry Payne; five brothers, Jimmy Randle, Robert Totton, Tommy Robinson, Orlandas Totton and Walter Totton; all of Cape Girardeau; and three sisters; Carolyn Davis of Sikeston, Dlarid Gurney of Newark, Ohio, and Margaret Campbell of Chicago, Ill.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at Ford and Sons Funeral Home on Sprigg Street. Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Gospel Assembly Church. Robert T. Shipp Jr. will officiate, and burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery in Cape Girardeau.
