EAST CAPE GIRARDEAU, Ill. -- Aliene M. McAllister, 73, of East Cape Girardeau died Sunday, Aug. 27, 1995, at her home.

She was born Dec. 18, 1921, at Logan County, Ill., the daughter of Harry and Eula King Joiner. She was married to Claude L. McAllister, who survives of the home.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mounds.

Other survivors include a daughter, Sandra Lee Snow of Carpentersville; a son, James Beasley of West Frankfort; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter and a brother.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Barkett Funeral Home in Mounds, where funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday. The Rev. F.M. Speakman will officiate, and burial will follow in the Masonic-Odd Fellows Cemetery in Benton.
