MOUNDS, Ill. -- George W. "Buddy" Harrell Jr., 42, Mounds Route 1, died Tuesday, Aug. 29, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

He was born Aug. 8, 1953, in Cairo, son of George W. and Elaine Hamilton Harrell Sr.

Harrell was a pilot with Tennessee Valley Towing Co. in Paducah, Ky.

Survivors include his wife, the former Jequita "Skeeter" Warden; three sons, Toby Daniels of Villa Ridge, Todd Daniels of Mound City, Matthew Harrell of Mounds; two daughters, Kim Davis of Cairo, Shauna Harrell of Wickliffe, Ky.; three brothers, Bruce and Wesley Harrell of Cairo, Stevie Farris of McClure; five sisters, Robbie Cruse of Paducah, Jennie Dean of Wickliffe, Lesa McClain and Tena Harrell of Cairo, and Tracy Franklin of Thebes.

He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant son.

Friends may call at Jones Funeral Home in Villa Ridge after 5 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Green Lawn Memorial Gardens at Villa Ridge.
