JACKSON -- Noma M. Allen, 82, of Jackson died Wednesday, Aug. 30, 1995, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

She was born July 11, 1913, at Sedgewickville, daughter of Thomas B. and Louvina J. Hartle Crites. She and Clarence Allen were married Jan. 7, 1933. He preceded her in death Oct. 12, 1991.

Allen lived on a farm in Bollinger County for 35 years before moving to Jackson in 1991. She was a member of the Little Whitewater Baptist Church at Patton.

Survivors include four sons, Martin Allen of Sikeston, Roy L. Allen of Sedgewickville, and David and Tom Allen of Jackson; five daughters, Eloise Forrest of St. Louis, Helen Cook of Sedgewickville, and Marilyn Mayfield, Marie Ruester and Debbie Freund of Jackson; 23 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and nine step-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at McCombs Funeral Home in Jackson.

Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home, with the Revs. Don Estes and Randy Miller officiating. Burial will be at Garden of Memories in Sedgewickville.
