SCOTT CITY -- Funeral service for James Raymond "J.R." Wilkinson of Scott City will be held at 2 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City. The Rev. Rennie Phillips will officiate. Burial will be in Lightner Memorial Cemetery.

Friends may call at the chapel from noon to service time.

Wilkinson, 41, died Thursday, Sept. 14, 1995, at his home.

He was born Jan. 23, 1954, in Cape Girardeau, son of Jesse R. and Charlotte Lorene Mifflin Wilkinson. He and Virginia "Gail" Hale were married Dec. 21, 1988, at Scott City.

Survivors include his wife; a brother, Guile Wilkinson of Imperial; a sister, Judith LeClere of Scott City, and a half brother, Ronald Huls of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
