GRACE N. CONRAD

Grace N. Conrad, 87, of Cape Girardeau, died Thursday, Oct. 26, 1995, at Perry Oaks Healthcare Center in Perryville.

She was born Dec. 7, 1907, at Scopus, daughter of Harrison and Emily S. Miller Newell. She and Beryl W. Conrad were married May 21, 1927, at Marble Hill.

Conrad had lived here since 1922, and worked at Florsheim Shoe Co. 43 years. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church.

Survivors include several nephews and nieces, including Kenneth Shrum of Marble Hill.

She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Sprigg Street Chapel from 4-6 p.m. today.

Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. Larry Gallamore officiating. Burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
