PERRYVILLE -- Mary Harriet Sandfort, 93, of Houston, Texas, died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 1995, at Spring Branch Hospital in Houston. She was born Oct. 9, 1902, at Silver Lake, daughter of William and Elizabeth Layton McLain. She and Emory H. Sandfort were married Aug. 2, 1934. He died July 3, 1982...

PERRYVILLE -- Mary Harriet Sandfort, 93, of Houston, Texas, died Wednesday, Nov. 8, 1995, at Spring Branch Hospital in Houston.

She was born Oct. 9, 1902, at Silver Lake, daughter of William and Elizabeth Layton McLain. She and Emory H. Sandfort were married Aug. 2, 1934. He died July 3, 1982.

Sandfort had worked at Stix, Baer and Fuller. She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Houston.

Survivors include a daughter, Sandra Peeters of Houston, and two grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters.

Friends may call at Young and Sons Funeral Home from 10:30 a.m.-12:45 p.m. Monday.

Funeral mass will be at 1 p.m. Monday at St. Vincent's Catholic Church, with the Rev. Frank Byrne officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
