IRMA F. DANKEL

Irma Fredericka Dankel, 86, 2001 N. Kingshighway, died Thursday, Nov. 9, 1995, at Southeast Missouri Hospital.

She was born March 26, 1909, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Emil and Rosa Mayer Umbeck. She and Albert Dankel were married Sept. 20, 1928, in Cape Girardeau. He died Jan. 23, 1993.

Dankel was a graduate of the former College High School and attended Southeast Missouri State University. She and her husband managed Sunny Hill Dairy Bar a number of years. She was a member of Evangelical United Church of Christ and its Friendship Circle.

Survivors include two daughters, Marilyn Garner of Cape Girardeau, Judith Breckinridge of Tulsa, Okla.; seven grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by three sisters.

Friends may call at Ford and Sons Mt. Auburn Chapel from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at the chapel, with the Rev. James Caughlan officiating. Burial will be in Lorimier Cemetery.
