THOMAS EUGENE COWAN

COBDEN, Ill. -- Thomas Eugene Cowan, 41, of Cobden, Ill., died Friday, Nov. 10, 1995, at his home.

He was born Aug. 20, 1954, in Pontiac, Mich., the son of William Henry and Ida Viola Rose Cowan.

He married Mary Anne Stevens Sept. 22, 1972, in Rochester, Mich.

He is survived by his wife; four sons, T.J. Cowan of Carbondale, Ill., Nathan, Josh-Paul and Jake Cowan of Cobden; and his mother, Ida Cowan of Dexter.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Cobden and was a carpenter.

Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Lutz and Rendleman Funeral Home in Cobden, with the Rev. Dewayne Taylor officiating. Burial will be in the Cobden Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home from 5 to 8 p.m. today.
