ROBERT WELLAND

PERRYVILLE -- Robert "Buddy" Welland, 64, of Perryville died Sunday, Dec. 3, 1995, at St. Louis University Medical Center.

He was born Aug. 5, 1931, at Perryville to August and Mabel Fassold Welland. He married Thelma M. Weinkein Sept. 1, 1951.

He retired from Sabreliner Aircraft Assembly. He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church in Perryville, where he was also an usher; a third-degree member of the Knights of Columbus 1263; and a member of the American Legion Booster Club.

Survivors include his wife; a son, Randy Welland of Cape Girardeau; a daughter, Judy Heil of Ste. Genevieve; three sisters, Dorothy Besand and Velda Henneman, both of Perryville, and Janet Kiefer of St. Louis; and two grandsons.

Visitation is today from 3-9 p.m. and Tuesday from 6:30-11:15 a.m. at Young and Sons Funeral Home in Perryville. Parish wake service is 7 p.m. today at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. Mass is 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at the church. Burial will follow in Mount Hope Cemetery.
